Transforming Lives through Faith, Compassion, and Empowerment.
Our Strategy
The Mission of Potter's House
At Potter’s House, our mission is rooted in holistic development and guided by our 3-1-3 Strategy. This approach enables us to empower individuals and communities to break the cycle of poverty:
-3- Stages of The Process of Transformation
Lasting change takes time. We guide individuals from childhood to their teenage years, providing holistic support through five key programs.
Over time, they grow and gain valuable knowledge and skills. These empower them to take responsibility and contribute to the growth of their families and communities.
To create a ripple effect, we encourage individuals to step beyond their community and share the knowledge and skills they’ve gained.
-1- Community Center
Our centers are the spaces where growth and change happen. Strategically located across Guatemala, they are placed in communities with high poverty rates affecting children and youth, identified through extensive outreach.
We collaborate with local leaders to develop a work plan based on the 8 Forms of Poverty model. Pilot projects are then launched, focusing on the needs of children and youth, with active community participation. Once established, the Community Center is equipped to address the essential needs of children and teenagers in the area.
We firmly believe that an individual who overcomes poverty and develops a personal relationship with God can inspire their family. In turn, the family can drive change within the community, and transformed communities can spark positive change across the nation.
