3 STAGES OF THE
PROCESS OF TRANSFORMATION
People development takes time, don’t happen overnight. We work with them since childhood until they are teenagers. We offer a holistic approach through 5 programs.
Over time they begin to thrive, they acquire knowledge and skills. With these skills and knowledge, they become responsible and capable of continuing developing their family and community.
To have a multiply effect, we challenge people to go out of their community and share with others what they have learned.
1 COMMUNITY CENTER
Are the physical space where the process of transformation takes place. These are established in strategic points around Guatemala. We have journeyed extensively the country to identify communities with high poverty rates that affect children and youth.
We work with local leaders to create a work plan using the 8 forms of poverty model. Next, pilot projects are implemented which focuses on the needs of children and young people. In which the community has an active participation.
Finally, the Community Center is established. It is equipped to cover the primary needs of children and teenagers of that community.
3 AREAS OF IMPACT
We strongly believe that a person that has overcome poverty and has a personal relationship with God, will be influential to his/her family. Then the family will bring changes to the community. And in transforming communities, it will generate positive changes to the nation.
