“When I met my sponsors, I couldn’t talk to them. I could barely say “Hi”. However this only made me want to study english even harder. Now I can talk to them for days. And I am living one of my biggest dreams: going to college.”

“After I learned to make jewelry and start my own business, in 2014 I began giving entrepreneurial classes to children about jewelry-making. I have seen so many kids enjoying themselves. I want them to continue teaching others.”
Claudia Yaguas, as a wife and mother of four children, continually strives to provide food and shelter for her family.

“Coming to serve on Saturdays has helped me grow spiritually. Children make me happy. One day, I saw a little child who looked sad so I approached him and began to talk with him. He shared how his father was drunk and his mother cried most of the time. We prayed together and after that I gave him a hug. I didn’t know all those encouraging words and actions could come out of me, but they did.”
